Pole driving machines for photovoltaic plants

High quality hammer designed in Italy. The MGI Tonker 830 is certified UKCA compliant and built to EU, US and international safety and quality standards.

The machine is composed of a tracked carriage for its movement and a hydraulic percussion hammer to drive the sticks into the ground; the machine is powered by hydraulic energy generated through a diesel engine and a high pressure pump.

Tonker 830 is built in a single model, and according to the customer's needs, columns of different heights can be made.

The Tonker 830, facilitates high performance in terms of post/day ratio. posts/day ratio It readily adapts to difficult terrain, while maintaining high quality standards.

Engine
The Tonker 830 is powered by a water-cooled, low-emission and very quiet Yanmar 4TNV88-BDYED series diesel engine. The hydraulic pump has a capacity of 34 cc at 1000 revolutions, which corresponds to almost 90 liters per minute at working speed.
Crawler Trolley
The crawler carriage has large dimensions, about 2000 mm long, 300 mm wide and 480 mm high. This feature allows it to operate properly even in the most difficult terrain without damage. The crawler carriage can be made of metal skids or also covered with rubber depending on the surface to be used, such as concrete or asphalt. By using the right skids based on the terrain, deterioration can be avoided.
Impact plate
The impact plate allows to quickly edge band sticks of any shape, whether wood or steel, thanks to its stability and practicality. The design of each impact plate can be made upon customer's request based on the type of stick to be beveled.
Hammer
The Indeco SPA hammer allows the fast ramming of poles thanks to its 950 Joule of power and 620-1500 blows per minute, which in turn contribute to an optimal performance of the project, thus obtaining production values that reach numbers up to three times higher than the average. A larger hammer (1200 Joule) can be installed on request.
